HISTORY

Samag was founded in 1972 by Mr.Pietro Rossetti and his
wife Loredana Lodigiani. Next to the making of the first hand pallet
trucks, the design and construction of the range of electric trucks were
coupled together covering all the needs of internal warehouse movement.
Samag has acquired the good faith of its Italian and European customers
and has gained a position as leader in its own market sector: “small”
in its size but with the objective of constant technological development.
Today, Samag produces about 1200 trucks a year, and has two
factories for about 6000 m2 globally covering an area of 16000m2. For some
years now, 55% of production is exported to the European market, mainly to
northern Europe (Denmark, Germany, UK, France, Eire, Austria) but also to
Holland, Belgium, Switzerland, Greece, Tunisia, Norway, Spain and Portugal.

Samag is leader in its own market sector because its motto
has always been to put THE CUSTOMER FIRST !

Today, the people that “make” SAMAG are one compact body that goes
side by side with its ability and flexibility in the use of the most
advanced computer and production technology. They are all specialised
“engineers” and many of them have been with SAMAG since the beginning.

But what gives SAMAG such a good name ? Its
constant technological research to improve continuously, its design, its
respect of the EEC safety norms since they’ve been in force……of
course this is obvious and a “duty” for a company who wants to remain
in Europe ! |

What makes the difference are the great planning and constructive capacities
that render SAMAG totally independent when making those fundamental components
such as masts, hydraulic cylinders, traction groups…, in order to satisfy its
customers most special requests, and to work on all the technical developments
of the trucks so as to have great interchangeability between spare parts.

All this remaining always competitive in the relationship
between quality and price.

Last but not least, the constant
attention to the after-sales service which
has always been fundamental to Samag’s well being and has created in its
customers faith and a certainty of being considered in first place.
